2008 chevy 1500 4.3 W/T did a pressurized fuel system

Customer Question

2008 chevy 1500 4.3 W/T did a pressurized fuel system cleaning of the injectors with the fuel pump fuse pulled and fuel cap off. I did it with an OTC system and now I can't get teh truck to run. It will start with starting fluid but won't stay running. Any ideas I checked the fuse for th fuel pump and pulled the relay and put it back. Fuel pressure was 62 before I started and it peaks there now with the key on and drops to the low 50's after a bit. I use acdelso cleaner as a solution in the cleaning process. thanks in advance

Hi Lance,

Sounds like your cleaner has wrecked the filter baskets in the injectors.

Some injectors can't handle these products.

I would pull the injectors out for off-car injector tech to look at.

Replacement could be on the cards.

Have you checked for any ECM codes stored?
