I HAVE A 2001 CHEVY 2500 SERIES 6.0 LITER. I KEEP BLOWING THE CRANK FUSE. WHAT IS CAUSING THIS PROBLEM?
JA: Do all the fuses have the correct amperage for the circuits they're in?
Customer: yes
JA: What is the model of your '01 Chevy?
Customer: 2500 3/4 ton with 6.0 liter engine
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: YES. REPLACING THE FUSE
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: NO. WHEN THE FUSE IS BLOWN THE TRUCK WONT START. NO POWER TO THE SELONIOD.

yes on which one i m sorry, you need a call or yiu need to leave for now ?

the crank fuse is blowing it goes to the ignition switch, you have to follow the wires from crank fuse to the switch

if it blows each time you turn the switch it is an output not input short not the switch usually .

but checking is needed

also crank fuse go to park/neutral position switch on trans needs checking
