Service brake booster, is showing up on dash display. Have never seen this before.
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: Came on about three days ago . Peddle feels very soft but still works , but not much power to it.
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2003 1500 Silverado
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes would like to fix it myself. I did a peddle check of the booster, and it appears to be working

1- check for vacuum leak

2- check the vacuum hose going to booster , do you have any ?

3- if you do have a good vacuum and still service booster , then the brake booster needs replacement , as long as the brake master cylinder is not leaking, you can tell if there is evidence of brake fluid .

Please let me know if you need anything else on it

Hope I was helpful to you
