My son's truck does fine on the way but it starts dying out

My son's truck does fine on the hiway but it starts dying out when Im at the ranch.
JA: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?
Customer: Yes, everything else works, the battery is charged, it just hesitates to start, takes awhile and then it starts.
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2011 silverado LS
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Took it to firestone and they didnt find anything
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: rpm go down and the truck turns off

What liter engine?

Are you going to do the diag and repairs yourself?

Its possible this is going to be fuel pressure or fuel injector related.
