the engine will crank over physically but not fire up ?

was the ignition switch and tumbler replaced to correct this issue or this issue started after ?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
the engine will not crank, the lights come on but it will not turn over
Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

with the key ON is the check engine light lit up in the dash ?

if it is when holding the key to crank position do you feel the starter relay click everytime the key is held to crank ?

Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

is there 12 volts at the fuse called crank in the under hood fuse box on both sides of that fuse testing it in place through the little openings in the tops of that fuse everytime the key is held to crank position ?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
It is not getting voltage at the crank fuse
Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

can you be sure the fuse called INGA in the under hood fuse box is good it is a big 40 amp fuse and also be sure it shows 12 volts on both sides of it testing it in place through the little openings in the tops of that fuse

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
That igna fuse is good but it does not have openings in the top to test it
Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

at the ignition switch does the red wires show 12 volts ta the switch?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I have 12 volts at the red ignition switch wire
Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

are you sure then switch is in correctly ?

where the gears are aligned on the wheel correctly on the switch to the lock cylinders gears ?

if you pop out the ignition switch and leave the key ON and switch plugged in electrically can you turn the wheel on the switch by hand and get it to crank over ?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
This truck has been throwing a bunch of u codes and dieing a lot , I recently replaced the FICM, do u think my ecm finally went out?
Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

that would not cause a no cranking issue

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I just tried turning the wheel on the switch and it does the same thing
Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

when holding the key to crank will it show 12 volts out the yellow wire of the ignition switch ?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I am not getting voltage on the yellow wire
Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

and the reds show 12 volts into the switch ?

the switch is supposed to switch power out the yellow from the red when its held to crank position

Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

as seen here for the electrical systematic

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I just checked again, the red has voltage and the yellow does not, do you mean check the smaller yellow wire that runs up
Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

the bigger yellow off the switch

if you jump the red wire to the yellow will the engine crank over ?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
How would I do that?
Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I finally read voltage on the yellow wire, I just wasn't holding my meter right
Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

ok now does it have volts at the crank fuse in the underhood fuse box ?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
it does I also just replaced the relay and that didn't help either
Expert:  Gary replied 4 months ago.

so when you jump the red at the ignition switch to the yellow with the key ON the truck will crank over and start up ?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
No, I couldn't get it to do that
Expert:  Jesse Southard replied 4 months ago.

hi I am Jesse. I have a couple of questions. 1 does the security lamp either come on and flash or come on solid when you attempt to start truck? 2 does the ip display that truck is in park when you turn key on?
