JA: Have you checked the fob's battery?
Customer: yes
JA: What is the model/year of your GM?
Customer: 2003 suburban
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: tried cleaning, replacing battery, adding foil to reconnect, bought a new one to program, nothing worked
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: my passenger door window doesn't work either

The problem you are having with your Fobs is a known issue and GM has released a service bulletin calling for reprogramming the door Module. I would have this checked on yours. I have enclosed the bulletin in the link below for your review.
