1992 chevy 1500 cruise control was working then was hard to set, replaced swich on column, noticed broken wires on switch, but still dors not set!
JA: Have you checked the fuse? What size is your engine?
Customer: 5.7 gas model, checked fuses in block, but is there any other locations for fuses?
JA: What is the model of your '92 Chevy?
Customer: c 1500
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes, new switch replaced, and fuses in block are good

turn ignition on and check for voltage at pink wire of cruise module and cruise switch connector if voltage is present check for voltage at gray wire of cruise control switch connector if no voltage replace switch if voltage is present check at gray wire cruise control module connector if no voltage repair open in gray wire if voltage is present check for voltage between gray and black and white wire at module connector if no voltage repair the black white wire its a ground
