Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

Binding due to a tie rod end or ball joint issue is possible but not likely.

If it's lack of assist you're having it could be the steering gear but it also could be the pump or a restriction. A restriction in the system could be affecting the pump's supply or output and dropping line pressure to the steering gear.

Where are the replacement steering gears coming from?

Oriellys replaced gear and pump everything was working fine just gearbox leaking

Replacing the pump at the same time complicates things. Was the pump replaced as part of the first repair?

No thought maybe pump was bad but just replaced everything this morning drives good but when stop at a light steering is very hard and no brakes

That's a normal symptom of low pump output pressure. Aftermarket pumps have a horrible failure rate, I've literally seen dozens installed and removed again before the vehicle left the service bay.

Was brake assist poor before the pump was replaced?

No everything was working just gearbox leaking

The current problem is most likely the pump itself then and that needs to be addressed first. You can either locate a power steering pressure gauge and measure pump output or replace the pump again with a quality part. If a pressure gauge isn't available I would recommend getting your money back for the aftermarket part and seeing your dealer for a factory pump.
