My cruise control will not engage, the light comes on on the

my cruise control will not engage
JA: Have you checked the fuse? What size is your engine?
Customer: the light comes on on the steering wheel but will not engage
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2007 suburban
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have tried the brake light switch and that didn't fix it
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?

Hi, I'm Chad ,Welcome To JustAnswer, I'm reviewing your question and I will be be posting a replay ASAP

1-Check the interior fuse box and under-hood fuse box , make sure all fuse are good

2- if all the fuses are good , then you need to have the BCM module scanned for fault codes and come back here and post to me , because the BCM is what controls the cruise thru the wheel switches it i sent you the diagram to see the flow of circuit
