Hi, I am working on a 95 Chevy Corsica with a 2.2L. It sat for a few years. Now it was running badly, so I pumped out as much gas as I could and filled it with fresh gas. It was hard to start , but I did get it to run yesterday until the exhaust
got too hot. I had to keep my foot on the throttle some to keep it running. Now all I get is a stumble and popping in the exhaust or intake. I changed the spark plugs
and it is no better.
JA: What size is your engine
? Have you checked the wires?
Customer: 2.2 four cylinder. I did check for spark and it is there.
JA: What year is your Chevy Corsica?
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: The fuel pump is working fine. And I pulled the filter and it is not plugged.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Chevy Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
