Chevrolet Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello and welcome! My name isCustomerand I can assist you with your question. This problem is most likley caused by a bad body control module or a bad headlamp control module. Both are very common. Check if the door locks cycle at the same time. If so, may have a Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) issue. If the locks do not cycle, only the headlamps come on, then disconnect the headlamp switch. Allow vehicle to sit, watch for headlamps to come on. If the condition no longer occurs, replace the headlamp switch, recheck operation. If the headlamps come on again, with headlamp switch disconnected, then I would suspect a bad BCM
