How do you get that if the motor does not turn over?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
that was my last compression tests completed at my last oil change
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 11 months ago.

Have you checked the compression since the belt breaking and a new belt installed?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
kind of hard to do since the starter will not engage
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 11 months ago.

Exactly. SOunds to me like the starter is turning the engine over but there is no compression due to damaged valves. Have you actually looked at the crank pulley while someone is starting it to see if the motor is turning?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
when turning the motor manually when installing belt and I have been turning motor since, I can feel compression Resistance is still there, motor has compression, starter will not engage the flywheel, no teeth missing new starter, there may indeed be damage to the engine, need to get starter to engage the flywheel
Expert:  EricFromCT replied 11 months ago.

I asked if you can see the crank pulley turn when someone is cranking the engine.?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Crank pulley is not turning when starter is spinning................

Then you need to make sure you have full 12 volts to the trigger wire of the starter. ANd also the main power wire to the starter is clean and is clean and tight at the battery.
