Replaced master cylinder after a bit the brakes started to

Customer Question

Replaced master cylinder after a bit the brakes started to lock and then the brake pedal goes to the floor board there is no tension on it
JA: Working brakes are essential. Fortunately, the mechanics we work with have tons of experience dealing with brake problems.
Customer: Can they help me with my problem?
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2008 5.3 SILVERADO 4X4
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes I've replaced the master cylinder. After that that's when I had trouble with it so I did is diagnostic check and it gave ne the following code c0131(which is the abs/tcs pressure circuit malfunction) so what's my next step is really my question is it sensor? Or a part. That you have to buy?
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: That's it
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Chevy Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hi there,

What was the problem with the brakes before?

Did you perform a manual bleed to all the wheels and then an ABS SYSTEM bleed with TECH2 etc?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
There was nothing wrong with the brakes . Took vehicle to a nearby Firestone , the technician said to replace the master cylinder. Which I did and now having trouble with the brakes so really don't know if one thing had anything to do with the other.

I would be taking it back to him.

Why didn't he do the job?

Now you are in trouble.

Sounds like you can't drive it now, I would recommend you take it to a Chevy dealer, on a towtruck.

They have all the tools.

Some of which you and an average workshop don't have.
