I have a 2001 z-71 suburban 1500. Replaced water pump
, thermostat, fan and flushed radiator
. The old fluid was very clean. It helped, but when the outside temp. is above 90 degrees the engine
temp sits arounf240 degrees
JA: How many miles are on the car? What size is the engine?
Customer: 245,000 5.3L
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I replace pump, thermostat, fan clutch, heater core
and flushed an already clean coolant.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Radiator? How would I know iy needs to replace. I have no leaks in the coolant system and no coolant in the oil
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Chevy Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
