the car runs as always, plenty of power, it does have a k and n filter in it, been in it for 40,000 miles, thougt that might be the trouble, removed it, made no difference codes still came back
Expert:  Derek Werner replied 4 months ago.

Thanks all of the fault codes are related to the mass air flow sensor.

Did you install a factory part from GM?

Some Aftermerket parts have been known to fail even when new.

I would inspect the mass air flow sensor wiring for any visual damage.

Also check the EMIS 2 fuse 15amp in the fuse block under the hood. This fuse powers the maf.

Check for a good ground on black wire with a white stripe at pin 7.

it is a factory new, ac delco, part
Expert:  Derek Werner replied 4 months ago.

Awesome, i would check the fuse first.

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
checked all fuses under the hood, all good, checked the plug and related wireing, all appear to be fine, light is still on
Expert:  Derek Werner replied 4 months ago.

ok next you will need a test light or multimeter to check for power and ground at the maf sensor connector.

pin 5 should have battery voltage. pink/ black

pin 7 is ground. black/white wire.
