sorry for the delay.............Greetings...... “Hi, I’m Don (akaCustomer and I look forward to helping you!”.
PassLock or AntiTheft would not result in A/C not working........PassLock or AntiTheft would only keep the Engine from running, as it shuts off the Fuel Pump & / or Starter..IF everything worked prior to this issue, do this:Close Hood & ALL DoorsLeave vehicle "UNDISTURBED" for at least 15 minutesUnlock Vehicle with RemoteTry Starting, while observing the Security LightIF the Security Light stays ON, then you have an issue with the Transponder & / or PassLock System & use of GM Dealer Scan Tool is needed to Test & Programapprx 1 hour labor
.IF you need more information, please ask "prior" to Rating..Please do the right thing and leave a rating, using the rating system, so I may be credited for this Q&A..NOTE: Do NOT Rate on how much TIME you waited, because I am not on 24 / 7 and I answer as soon as I see the question. The question will still remain open for follow up questions if needed..If for any reason, you can't rate my answer OKAY, GOOD, or EXCELLENT today. Please reply and let me know why, so I can help more/better..Rating is very Important to our Service.
Thank you for the added info.......
Be sure the Battery is "fully charged"......You need "amps"....voltage check will not be accurate, as a Battery can read 12 Volts, but not have enough Amps to start......IF you are not sure, jumper or charge the BatteryThis can also be a BCM issue, as the BCM controls the PassLock.......
let me know what you find
that would be correct......was not sure it started.......This sounds like either a "Communication failure" or the BCM, as the BCM commands a number of components ON & OFF, including the ones you postedWhich needs to be tested via GM Dealer Scan Tool
