Hi my name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you

I m sorry to hear that happened .

for now we can cycle igntion switch few times see if that will release it.

if not can you disconnect the batter to see if we can reset it , unless the shifter mechanically broke than that will be different since it requires disassembly

Master Reset PocProcedure

1-Disconect battery ( Both Cables ,The Negative & The Positive Cable )
2-Touch Cables toghether and hold 20 secs and let go
3-Hold Brake pedal down 10 secs
4-Wait 10 minutes and then Reconnect Battery
5-Close all the doors ,hood & trunk .
6-lock the car with key from driver door ( IF your car is Equipped with a bladeless key then just locked with the keyFob
7- Unlock car

and see if that will reset it , that will work if it was a switch or a module went off line when u cut it off in drive position , if it doesn't we have a bigger failure

Thank You ***** ( aka -Customer)
