Hello, there are no recalls on the AC system. What was the freon level when they looked at it last, were any leaks repaired and is it just cooling poorly now even with a proper charge?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.

Does the compressor clutch engage when the ac button is pushed and the engine is running?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I can hear it blowing but it blows hot air
It also just start making a noise
It worked for a day or so after charging it

You need to open hood, turn on ac with engine running, check radiator fans make sure they are on, check ac compressor and make sure it is spinning, the compressor should click, then start spinning with the engine running. It is on the front of the engine and is driven by the serpentine belt.

Ok will do when I go out

You could have a major leak and be low on freon, you could have a bad low pressure switch. You could have a bad temp sensor in the vehicle, you would need to take to a shop and have it scanned and these sensors checked.

Expert:  Dan replied 9 months ago.

You could also have a blend door problem.
