Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

You may have quite a few things going on. The issue may be a lack of fuel or a fuel auality concern, an engine mechanical issue (not likely), or it may be an electrical issue.

Have you checked for fault codes?
Do you hear the transfer pump run when the key is turned on?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
The fuel pump does fill the fuel bowl just fine. I have installed a new fuel filter also. The engine will fire when starter fluid is sprayed into the intake manifold but it does not keep running.

Have you checked for fault codes?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I had a technician put a scanner on the truck. He said that the signals all looked good except the injector signal was bouncing around

Has anyone checked for fault codes?
Can you elaborate on what you mean by injector signal bouncing around?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I don't know if the guy checked the codes but I assume he did. We thought it might be the crank sensor but he said no after running the scanner

Does the tach move while cranking?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Just fixed the truck. Wire under intake to module was broke.
