Customer Question

Chevy Equinox 2012 OBD codes POO11 and POO13. What needs to be looked at?
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix with a Chevy. The Chevy Mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: Check engine light on but no trouble with the car. It is running smoothly.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: Maybe if possible.
JA: Is there anything else the Chevy Mechanic should be aware of about your Chevy?
Customer: It has 40216 miles on the 2012 Equinox.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Chevy Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

very sorry internet was down for a bit, there are two solenoids on top of the valve cover that need to be tested first, it is a pretty simple test if you have a multi meter. If these pass then I would suspect it needs timing chains. there is extended coverage on some of this, if you send me your VIN I can check for you.
