Any other faults or check engine light on?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
No but it some times has a buck when driving when you just push on gas easy

MOst of the time an unstable idle can be fixed by cleaning the throttle body. Remove the air intake tube at the front of the engine. Then use throttle body cleaner spray (or carburetor cleaner spray) to clean the throttle body and throttle bore. Open the throttle blade by hand to do the cleaning, key should be off.

Did you see any buildup (fouling) on the spark plugs when they were replaced?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Like this
Expert:  Dave Nova replied 10 months ago.
No, that plug is pretty clean. An oil fouled plug would look like this.
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
No nothing like that

Any vacuum leaks from intake gaskets or vacuum hose connections?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
I don't know how would I check that
Expert:  Dave Nova replied 10 months ago.
With the engine idling. spray carb cleaner around the perimeter of the intake manifold. If idle changes while spraying, you have located a vacuum leak.
Customer: replied 10 months ago.

Try the idle relearn procedure listed below. Disconnect battery for at least 30 seconds, then reconnect. 1. Start and idle the engine for 3 minutes. 2. With a scan tool, monitor the Desired Idle Speed and the actual Engine Speed. 3. The ECM will start to learn the new idle cells and Desired Idle Speed should start to decrease. 4. Ignition OFF for 60 seconds. 5. Start and idle the engine for 3 minutes. 6. After the 3 minute run time the engine should be idling normal. Note: During the drive cycle the check engine light may come on with idle speed DTCs. If idle speed codes are set, clear codes so the ECM can continue to learn. ◊If the engine idle speed has not been learned the vehicle will need to be driven at speeds above 70 km/h (44 mph) with several decelerations and extended idles. 7. After the drive cycle, the engine should be idling normally.
