Customer Question

I have a 2009 chevy hhr ss, with turbo. Today when driving, I pressed the accelerator, it made pop noise. Then I did not have any turbo power, at all. The more I pressed the accelerator, the louder a sort of hissing noise became. This is the 3rd motor to be put in this car. It has about 3000 miles on it. A guy at church thought maybe the air hose or vacuum hose to the turbo had blown. Can you tell me any suggestion of a fix? The location of these hoses?
Thanks, ***** *****

Hello, my name is***** sounds like the the piping that goes from turbo to intercooler or from intercooler to intake has came loose. You will need to do a good visual inspection, if nothing can be found a shop will need to force air into system to find leaks. Here is a diagram so you know where to look. Let me know if you have more questions or if there is anything else I can do to help. Thanks.
