Customer Question

I have a k3500 4x4 Duramax with 211,000 mile. The oil pressure sometimes drops to zero while driving. The engine seams fine. When it happens I stop and turn off motor. Wait a couple of minutes and start up and it fine for a while- intermediate.
I have changeded the oil pressure sending unit with a new OEM and it had no effect

when it drops to 0 there are no abnormal engine noises at all ?

any access to a mechanical oil pressure gauge to connect it to where the oil sensor goes and monitor the oil pressure with the mechanical gauge and see if that will ever show the engine oil pressure read 0 PSI of oil pressure
