Are you doing anything with my request?
Expert:  Daniel Jones replied 8 months ago.

Do all the problems occur at the same time?

Do they all stay on?

How long before they go off?

Starting with the '03 Model year and newer they had a Cluster Recall issue, but there are no bulletins for your model year.

The issue events with the warning lights all occur in a sequencial manner on the main engine light on the left side of the cluster beginning with the security warning (2 to 5 seconds), then fuel low warning (2 to 5 seconds) then battery light warning 2 to 5 seconds), fuel gage shows empty. Volts gage reads14, oil pressure normal, tach reads ok and speedo works fine.I will tell you that the brake switch motherboard has some loose connections in it that need to be soldered, or this box needs to be replaced. The symptom for this is anti_lock brake and brake warning lights come on and off due to road vibration. The symptoms with the engine warning light as described in my request came well after the brake switch issue.

It could be a issue of losing power to the cluster or a bad cluster.

All systems need to be checked to see if there are any codes in the system.

Below is how the system operates.

Displays Test

Certain instrument panel cluster (IPC) features are tested when the ignition is turned on in order to verify the features are working properly. The following occurs at key up:

  • The air bag indicator flashes 7 times.
  • The ABS indicator illuminates briefly.
  • The service engine soon indicator (MIL) illuminates briefly.
  • The charge indicator illuminates briefly.
  • The fuel gauge cycles.
  • The speedometer cycles.
  • All message center segments illuminate briefly.
