2008 impala. key stuck in ignition. battery drained. checked shift wiring. no sign of cut wire. try to charge battery and get a clicking in fuse box.

I am sorry your having this problem

can you remove the battery and have it tested for bad cells and volts and cold cranking amps ?

the odds are and is very common that battery itself is bad

replacing the battery should correct this issue you are having
