From mississippi, ***** ***** from MS, i have a 2000 chevy

Customer Question

from mississippi
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: ***** ***** from MS, i have a 2000 chevy blazer, not the bigger one, with a tapping lifter. I have put in motor oil treatment & gas treatment. What about atf transmission fluid, like we use to before catalick converters, but a little at a time, from the top side.
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Chevy Mechanics generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.

The best thing I have found to help a sticking lifter is valve medic oil additive. Adding some atf thru the intake might help a sticky valve but it is not good for convertor. it will not kill the converter just don't add too much.
