have replaced sending unit for fan but instrument gage still running hot engine is not steaming, running temp normal Is there a second sending other than the fan switch where

there is only one temp sender for this engine'and it sends the temp to the engines computer which then sends that to the dash gauge for the temp

what will it read on the gauge ?

when you start it up cold is it already at full hot or maxed out ?
