what is DRL yes just the dim lights go out.
Expert:  Chris (aka-Moose) replied 9 months ago.

DRL is daytime running lights.

DHL lights work, the only thing that goes out are the dimmer lights. one at a time. We have changed them 3 times, plus the relay switch in the last 6 months

Thanks, ***** ***** low beam bulbs to continue failing needs to be replaced they have to be overheating. So we need to check the black or gray wire to each while the low beams are and engine on on to see if there is no resistance to ground. If that is good then monitor the other wire at each for power. You should get the exact same reading as the battery and it should not be fluctuating. Now shut off the headlights so the DRLs are working, you should get the exact same result. If so then there is a condensation issue getting in and blowing the bulbs.
