Customer Question

2003 Silverado. When the key is turned to run all lights and radio come on like normally. Gages do not. Neither does the odometer. When the key is turned to start. Nothing. No clicks. The lights do dim. Thought it was ignition switch and replaced it but didn't help.

Hello,

Do you have a volt meter to use to test with?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Not at the moment. I could get one to use but it would be a couple days
Expert:  Virtual Wrench replied 1 year ago.

We would definitely have to have one in order to track this down because there is not just one single thing that could be the only possibility. Just post back when you can get a digital volt meter.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok. It may take a bit to get one. In the meantime would it help to check relays? Ignition, starter.
