hi there,

im cam, a licenced diagnostic tech.

the speakers on these trucks are horrible. i have replaced lots of them. very weak factory speakers.

1.remove the stereo console and unplug the speaker connectors at the radio

2 Using a 9 volt battery and jumpers, tap power and ground from the 9 volt battery to the individual speakers.

3. Listen for a click. If no click is heard, verify the harness to the individual speakers.

4. If the wiring is OK, replace the speakers.

if the speakers react with the battery than it is the stero unit that will need to be replaced
