The C0900 is a strange code to keep getting. We usually see it when there is a battery voltage issue that isn't a real problem, usually a short or a result of a jump start.
If it keeps coming on it could be an overcharging alternator.

The p0899 is another electrical code, and the only thing I've ever seen this one set for is the brake light switch. It's a possibility that it is what is causing yours to come on. You could test the switch with a scan tool or a multi-meter.
This code could also be a result of a bad ground to the brake control module, which would also explain the c0900 code because it could illuminate from a bad ground to the brake module as well.
Maybe that's a good place to start.
