My PVC valve keeps caving in on my Chevy venture 2000 I get a 0441 reading. I replaced the purge valve. When I turn ignition key on not engine I get a popping kind of notice and my heater won't work properly.

The collapsing vacuum line makes me think you have a vent solenoid that is not opening properly

There is a GM bulletin for diagnosing the P0441.
