The tow haul had stopped engaging awhile back. Since it stopped had the battery go bad when jumped off tow haul was engaged and would not disengage. Replaced battery t/h was disengaged and will not engage.

The wire usually breaks near the bottom of the shifter. Remove the lower cover from the steering column and see if the wire is broken.
