So the vehicle was doing the shift indicator movement before you took it in to the Dealer, Correct? Thanks, ***** *****

that's why it was taken into dealer and still doing it and has hesitation when passing someone. Didn't fix anything but replace steering wheel module. 500 bucks still nothing

OK, The issue you are having is related to the Transmission gear range switch (this is an electronic switch/sensor that sees what gear you manually shift the transmission into) it sends a signal to the computer, then inturn it lights up the proper gear posistion on the shift indicator (p r n d) and when it sees that you are in drive range it also locks doors when your speed hits the preferred setting. When this switch/sensor gets a glitch in it it will cause the indicator to move from like drive to park, or? When the computer then sees the bad reading from the sensor it also unlocks the doors (it thinks you are going to exit the vehicle! They need to take agood look at the sensor and also check the wiring connections to it, Thanks,Please let me know if I can be of any other assistance to you with this issue!
