hi , Gary we spoke earlier , its Arnold I have the 5.3 chevy with the po306 code , you mentioned lifter after removing valves are opening and closing and I don't have lash in #6 rockers intake or exhaust . broken ring or worn ring , head gasket , no fluid
in oil , or low coolant , motor was smoking some white smoke not blue or black . but could have been condensation from sitting a week . in a cool climate . your thoughts .

6 valves are opening and closing the same as the others on that bank when cranking it over ?

8 valves yes all seem to be in sequence with firing order
