Customer Question

Check the Tan color wire at the muti-function switch is should be ground.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I do not see a tan wire. Does it go in to the plug with the little 4 wire pig tail that stays with the switch, I see two light color wires there, but they look maybe grey to me. Or is it in one of the other plugs?
Expert:  SuperDave replied 1 year ago.

Should be on the connector to the multi-function switch.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There is 4 connectors to that switch
Expert:  SuperDave replied 1 year ago.

It is connector 2.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
None of the connectors on this one are labeled or numbered. Just looked again, and do not see a tan wire

Did you try to check the connector on the blower resistor?

Blower resistor? That would make the wipers not work on high speed?
Expert:  Daniel Jones replied 12 months ago.

Sorry for mix up. That was meant for another customer.

Computer was down several days.

As for your problem. Have you replaced anything besides the wiper switch?

Do you still require help with this?

Thank You for posting your question.

The truck is gone, but I am guessing will come back, not sure. No, just the switch was replaced. I pulled the cowel and back probed blue wire at motor and grounded it and motor runs on high speed.
