I am sorry for the long wait

the ABS light was NOT on before the sensor was replaced ?

I'm not sure
Expert:  Gary replied 1 year ago.

a steering wheel sensor is defective or in wrong can cause codes

it is best to have the ABS codes read and if the code is for the steering sensor then the sensor is in wrong or defective or it was not installed with the wheels and steering wheel straight

if the ABS codes is NOT for the steering sensor then the odds are it is not related to the steering sensor that was replaced
