Customer: replied 1 year ago.
2007 gmc 2500 hd 6.6 duramax with Allison trans. Truck has 280,000 miles. Never had starting issues before. The weather turned cold and it wouldn't start. It randomly started once and then wouldn't start again

Thank you. I would start by checking the batteries. If they are low enough then the starter will not even try to engage but other systems will work. It will also do this if the vehicle is not registering all of the way into park. You can try starting it in nuetral to see if it starts to narrow that down. If nothing is found I can run you through some tests if you have a voltage meter.
