No

Any codes set in the computer?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I don't understand by what you mean computer. I show no kind of lights on the cluster where the check engine light is on and the security lights are at.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The truck seems to be running perfect except it shuts off after 3 seconds. I do notice that if I let the truck sit for 15 minutes and turn then turn on, it stays on longer 5-8seconds
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It seems like it's deprived of gas.

How long since the fuel filter has been replaced?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Honestly it's probably been around 10 years
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Where is the fuel filter located at
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I thought this truck just had a fuel pump
Expert:  Dave Nova replied 1 year ago.

Try replacing the fuel filter first. If that does not solve the problem then the next step would be to test fuel pressure with a gauge to determine if the pump is bad.

Expert:  Dave Nova replied 1 year ago.

The filter is located on the drivers side frame rail, ahead of the fuel tank.

Will do

One question on the mass air flow sensor when I install that do I have to disconnect the battery to reset everything before I start?
Expert:  Dave Nova replied 1 year ago.

The computer does not need to be reset when installing a new sensor. It will automatically detect the new sensors readings.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I change the fuel filter and its doing the same thing
Expert:  Dave Nova replied 1 year ago.

If you press the gas pedal after starting the engine, does it stall out more quickly?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It's not even staying on now.. Seabreeze intake cleaner I can keep it going if I keep spraying the intake cleaner into the intake
Expert:  Dave Nova replied 1 year ago.

Definitely not getting enough fuel to the engine. Since the filter is new, looks like the fuel pump is bad.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I will try that...that's what I was think. I'll let you know how it goes...is there any other sensors that might make this happen?
Expert:  Dave Nova replied 1 year ago.

Not any sensors that would cut off fuel supply to the engine. Pretty sure its the pump at this point.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Sounds good
