2004 Chevy Malibu, with 3.5 engine. Electric steering acts up ONLY in the morning on first start ups. After starting and restarting about 5 times, its fine the rest of the day. Steering sensor and motor replaced, Same problem.

Hello, my name is***** this issue occurs only during first start up t is caused by a voltage issue. Most of the time it is because the battery is failing or too small for the vehicle or because the ignition switch is failing internally. A bad battery cable can also cause this.
