2007 impala ltz front seat height adjustment is stuck all the way down. motor tries to turn it but it is locked up? both seats do this

are you trying to replace the motors?

No both motors work. They try to spin the screw but its locked up.

sounds like the adjuster assembly is seized you can attempt to disassemble and free up or replace
