I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT with a 5.3L Flex Fuel

Customer Question

I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT with a 5.3L Flex Fuel engine that recently had to have a new ignition switch put on. I was told by my mechanic that the BCM had to be reprogrammed for the truck to run. Is there any way the mechanic can do this without having to take it to the dealer?
