Just to review, does the brake light on the right side of trailer not operate, but turn signal will work on right side of trailer? Or is the turn signal inoperative as well?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Turn signal works

Look under the drivers side rear of the truck. Is the trailer wiring tapped into the factory taillight wiring plug, or have the wires been cut into?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Appear to be cut into

If you have a test light or voltmeter, check voltage on factory green wire, then trailer wiring green wire with the brake pedal depressed. Let me know what you find there.
