2005 Trailblazer EXT 4WD. Recurring issue with RPMs

Customer Question

2005 Trailblazer EXT 4WD. Recurring issue with RPMs increasing without additional power to drivetrain. Had transmission rebuilt, was good for a week or 2 then started again. Went back to trans shop, they replaced a valve and throttle body. Was good for about a week and now similar issues and can't get it above 60mph. Tired of sinking money into this thing.

Hi there, I am Cam. Do you have any warning lights? When any of this was happening, had the fuel system ever been checked?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No warning lights, scanner did pick up a code that was thrown one time. Fuel gauge always reads "E" due to sensor in tank having failed. That has been the case for a few years now, though.

Was that the only code? What was the code number?
