2002 chevy silverado. My truck will not start. My headlights

Customer Question

2002 chevy silverado. My truck will not start. My headlights and done lights won't work either. Everything else works. My parking lights and tail lights and horn. I try to start it and it turns over then dies.

Does the engine start and then stall?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It doesn't really start. I turn the key it acts like it cranks then it just dies immediately.

Could it be my engine control module?

Is the security light on or flashing?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It's on then my battery light comes on. I had a chevy mechanic here tell me how to try the reset and it didn't work. Idk if there may be a short in something that caused it to blow a fuse or something.

Start by checking all of the fuses in the underhood fuse panel, particularly the larger fuses. Let me know what you find there.
