Trail blazer rives -3 miles and then stops. wait 2-3

trail blazer rives for 2-3 miles and then stops. wait 2-3 minutes and it drives another mile or 2, then stops again.
. replaced filter, but did not help

When the engine stops do you lose fuel pressure?You should have a small valve on the fuel rail(has a black cap on it)Remove the cap and when the engine stops push down on the valve and see if fuel squirts out .If it does not then you probably have a problem with the fuel pump.I would also check your oil pressure.If that gets to low then the oil pressure switch will shut off power to the fuel pump.
