Customer Question

I have a 4.3 2004 astro van. after new plugs wires number 4 cylinder does not fire. 180 pounds pressure. Does the motor have sensors on crankshaft to tell distributor when to fire at TDC. The Mechanic also put on a new belt. He bought the wires at OReiley's. The first set of wires were shooting fire from them to the heat shields on the engine.
