Hello, my name is Bobby. Thank you for the question. Besides the light being on how does the vehicle run?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No problems

Thank you. Most of the time this code comes up from something as simple as a bad gas cap. I would remove the gas cap and check the seal on it. If the seal is cracked or smashed then replace it. I would then clear the codes and see if it comes back. If it does come back then there is a leak in the evap system which can be a failing solenoid or broken evap line. Did you plan on fixing this yourself?

Which Solenoid is The Most Common To Replace or Do Them Both?

How did the seal on the gas cap look?

Visual looks good

If it looks fine then I would replace the purge valve first. It is the most common of the solenoids to cause this. The only other thing you can do would be to have a smoke test done to see if there is a physical leak in the system.
