Hello, my name is Bobby. Thanks for the question. The warning lights that you are getting may be computer related, but not the knocking noise. The most common cause of this noise is a failure in the valve train. The issue typically is caused by a failure in the lifters. I would start though by replacing the oil filter if that has not been done as a cheap oil filter can cause this. Please let me know if you need more help.
