Hello and welcome to JustAnswer! There are many things that could be causing your problem. You may be losing fuel pressure due to a failing pump or pump wiring issue, you may be losing spark for a number of reasons. Lost spark will cause the engine to die abruptly, fuel more slowly. The first thing you'll need to do is see if any fault codes are setting. Most causes of lost spark will set a fault code. Common causes of lost spark are the cam and crank sensor, wiring, coils and ignition module. The problem may also be the powertrain control module going down. This could be an internal module failure or a loss of power or ground to it. If no codes are set then electrical testing will need to be done at the time it's acting up to determine what is happening.
